While some (misled) people may have a less than favorable opinion of those born during the chosen period, I contend we are predisposed to greatness.

As masters of communication it’s no surprise we tend to exceed in creative endeavors. All your favorites (yes, your favorites) are Geminis. While some call us crazy and two-faced I say we are two sides of a quarter. One side is heads and one is tails but it’s still 25 cents.

As previously stated I understand upwards of 87% of any given Kanye verbal soliloquy. That little Ellen selection. Made sense to me. He’s not always right but I understand what he trying to say. Does that mean I might be crazy? Crazy like a fox!

On the other end of the spectrum we can be recluses. Think 3 Stacks. Who had been coming out of his self woven cocoon, but clearly comfortable with living his life on his terms and could give a damn about our desires to make him great. Kendrick exhibits a more recluse lifestyle as well. His decision to rap in different voices displeases some, but a clear sign of Gemini.

We also have the givens in any hip hop goat conversation, Biggie and Pac. Taken from us in their prime can you imagine what they could have been? What they should have been. The overweight lover Heavy D, who was mercurial in movement. And then there’s Prince. I’m not ready to do that. I’m not ready to do that yet.

Ice Cube has strategically gone from a wave nouveau wearing hardcore rapper to a family friendly movie mogul. There’s Jadakiss, another highly regarded MC, who’s a great storyteller, and may own one of the most recognizable voices in hip-hop. Remy Ma. Remy fucking Ma who’s verbally gifted and just came from the big house to a bigger house. Living a hip-hop life through and through!

With hills come valleys, and even we have ours. Lauryn Hill, Azealia Banks, Iggy Azalea, Donald Trump… Yeah we fuck up sometimes too. Like I said greatness, it might be for behaving maniacal but it’s epic nonetheless. We all have our blemishes.

The moral of the story is we’re fantastic, we’re amazing, we’re the strongest , we’re the quickest, we’re the best!!
